WoW Raising Monthly Fee

Please tell me this is an April Fool’s Day joke…$20? Come on!  Has the dollar lost that much value?  Don’t they make enough money?  All I can say is What the Fuck!

Also, the switch over to my own host is coming along slowly…getting myself spun up on everything that is involved with it.  I think I have chosen a theme, should have something up within a day or two…

The Morning After…

Not sure what the actual problem was, but this morning as I was trying to do my early morning auction house scan the server was acting a bit odd and there were people complaining about random disconnects…last night the servers seemed to be working just great…maybe it is some sort of aftershock effect, I have no idea how that works…but it was frustrating when I am in the middle of sending a message via the mailbox and it won’t send…then I get disconnected…I try to go to the other server I play on and I get the character selection and click enter, then it says, the world server is down…hmmm?

Anyway, I went in search of the upgraded PVP rewards, I guess my hopes of Season Arena 2 being available to purchase with battlegrounds honor isn’t true..yet…but, I did get a black war ellek for Tabeyus…I love it!  He is huge, I will post a screenshot and let you see…I love riding around town and standing on top of people, completely covering them up…hehe

I am going to get some firewater and some elixir of growth and see how HUGE I can get on my new mount…I promise I will share it here with you all…

Patch Day!

One more post here…jeez, I get to caught up in stuff at times.  Yeah, so today is the highly anticipated 2.4 patch day.  I have been saving up my honor points on Drollam for the new and improved PVP rewards, supposedly the Season Arena 2 gear will be available for purchase using honor points gained by participating in the battlegrounds.  I am pretty excited about that too.  I need to focus on leveling up Drollam to 70 now and start doing daily quests and grinding for the flying mount.

I know there is a ton of stuff in the patch, I skimmed through it last week, but for me the biggest thing is the pvp rewards, new content is always welcome and brings new challenges and areas to explore.  One of the favorite things for me to do is to go explore new zones and check out new vistas.  Can’t wait to see what is in store for us today.

This Wonderful World of Warcraft

Where do I fit in this place?  Well, it would seem like all things in life, change is inevitable and necessary for life to go on.  So many things I would like to discuss here, but alas my time available to dedicate to sharing with you today is short, so let me break it down into small bitesize morsels so we can all be happy.

First of all, as you are aware I moved Tabeyus, my 70 feral druid, over to a new server, you can call him the big brother of Tredon, who is my newest addition into the WoW.  He is currently a level 18 balance druid…I know, you are probably thinking, why another druid?  Well, to be honest, because I like them, ’nuff said…  These two are happily making their way through life with their new guild, or as I would call it, “family”, because that is what it is, I feel like I have been adopted and taken in by a small closeknit group of people who are probably the nicest people I have ever met online…

Secondly, Drollam, my level 68 witch doctor, is respecced back to full elemental, why?  Because I like to kill stuff… ’nuff said….also, he left the raiding guild he was in to become part of the “family” of Zombie Squad on the Ghostlands server.  That is because I know honestly right now, I don’t have the dedication or time to invest into being part of a well oiled raiding machine, so I will step back and take my time and enjoy my last few levels, once I hit 70, I have no plans of doing anything exciting, dailies, occasional dungeons, etc…

Finally, let me close by saying I have found a friend who has made my gaming experience enjoyably again.  ‘Nuff said.

Gotta Have Soul

Every great once in a while something happens in your life that makes you want to freeze time and just hold on to the moment for a little longer…seems I have had these quite a bit lately in WoW.  As strange as it may seem I feel I have met someone I’ve known for a very long time.  I can’t quite put my finger on it, but who am I to question this crazy road of life and who I meet along the way…

So I moved Tabeyus, my poor neglected druid to a new server, Eldre’Thalas, where he has become part of a small close-knit guild of friends and family members.  I can honestly say this is the first time where I feel like I belong to the guild, it isn’t any hardcore endgame raiding guild or anything, just a group of people who really enjoys each others company.  I am continuing my battleground adventures and will share with you my losses and defeats however terrible or triumphant they may be.  After spending time playing my horde Shaman, it has taken me some time to adjust back to the feral in your face action of playing my druid.  One thing is for sure, he sure can outlast my shammy as far as taking a hit is concerned.

I have been slowly leveling my blood elf priest, Rekkr, who is a proud member of the Zombie Squad on Ghostlands.  Sticking with the holy build, mainly playing him with other guild members, I find myself only wanting to quest with other people now, I guess the years of walking the world alone has finally caught up to me and companionship has become something I seek more than a higher level or gold or whatever.

I’m curious how important friends are when it comes to your gameplay, do you only play with other people, or does it not make a difference?  Perhaps I’ve been lonely this whole time and didn’t know it.
