What D&D Character I Am.

I was browsing my google reader this morning as I usually day on a daily basis and I came across one of those tests someone had taken.  Kinless shared his results and I figured why not…most of the time it depends on the mood I am in, but for the most part the results are pretty accurate.  Anyway, without further ado..

I Am A: Lawful Good Human Paladin/Ranger (3rd/2nd Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-13

Dexterity-15

Constitution-16

Intelligence-15

Wisdom-15

Charisma-14

Alignment:
Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment because it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Paladins take their adventures seriously, and even a mundane mission is, in the heart of the paladin, a personal test an opportunity to demonstrate bravery, to learn tactics, and to find ways to do good. Divine power protects these warriors of virtue, warding off harm, protecting from disease, healing, and guarding against fear. The paladin can also direct this power to help others, healing wounds or curing diseases, and also use it to destroy evil. Experienced paladins can smite evil foes and turn away undead. A paladin’s Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast. Many of the paladin’s special abilities also benefit from a high Charisma score.

Secondary Class:
Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter’s dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger’s Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

Crow Moon

Something that I have been wanting to share here is the fact that I have a strange infatuation with werewolves and things related to them.  I also enjoy films and the lore related to vampires, but the cycle of the moon and idea of the moon having an impact on how people behave has been fascinating to me.

The way it is portrayed in films makes it like a blessed curse if that makes any sense.  For example, you are given this “gift” to become something else, something with heightened senses, but also, you don’t have any control over your actions, you are driven by instinct and hunger.  Basically becoming an unstoppable monster who only seeks to consume everything it can while in the transformed state of being.

The Worgen in World of Warcraft are pretty amusing.  I wish druids could get the ability to shapeshift into one of them, perhaps it could be a feral skill upon reaching level 80…who knows…

Anyway, enjoy the fullmoon out there tonight all, keep your windows shut and your doors locked, cause you never know who might be out in the night…

Happy Saint Patty’s

May good luck and all that be with you today.  If you go get drunk make sure you don’t wear those beer goggles when you get ready to go home.  For myself, I might have some Seagrams on the rocks, no big partying going on for me…

Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but getting drunk just because doesn’t sound too appealing to me as it used to.  In any case, have fun and be well.

Do the Dew

I know a lot of people have heard that rumor about if you drink mountain dew and you are a guy it will shrink your balls or lower your sperm count or make your snake a worm….well, I never believed all that crap and now I can share the link to prove it to you all…

Snopes

I love snopes…and I enjoy sharing the knowledge with you all…you can thank me later.

Bra?

I am a pretty easy going guy who doesn’t let most things get under my skin.  But, every once in a while, something will just trigger something and I have to be very careful how I react or else I might get into some trouble.

Picture this:  Me, Sean, sitting at work, my job is really pretty boring here while I am in the states, pretty much imagine working at a taxi service/ hertz vehicle rental store, there ya go…yeah, good times, but we wear uniforms and call each other sergeants and stuff, so it is a bit more exciting I suppose…anyway, here I am, some aircrew members, these are our customers, walk in returning a van they were using while enjoying their stay here in our wonderful area of southeast DC..grand views…and so, I have to find someone to check this vehicle in, ensuring they didn’t have a keg party in the back and burn the tread off the tires, normal stuff, and at that time one of them says, “We’re gonna need a ride out to the plane BRA.”

At first, it took a second to sink in, then I had to turn around and go into the other room to find my person and to not let him see me getting worked up, I came back and said someone will give them a ride.  They left and I am still wondering why that bothered me like it did.  Maybe that is normal talking for people from California?  I don’t know, I have never hung out there, so I don’t know, but don’t call me BRA, I am not a piece of stretchy cloth that wraps around a womans breasts….but that does sound kind of fun…hmm
