Feedburner is a GO.

Just in case you already read my blog through the rss feed I wanted to let you know I am now using feedburner, so if you would like to, feel free to go to my page and subscribe using the little green button there under my email address.

Update:  If you are a subscriber to my feed you don’t need to do anything…but there are 2 buttons under my email address one for entries, the other for comments…just fyi.

I hope this makes reading this that much more betterer…er, yeah, let me know if you have any problems, I am still a feedburner noob of sorts…

No news on the WoW front, been working, sick, sleeping if I am not at work…oh, I don’t think I shared, the other day I finally reached reveered status with Sporeggar in Zangarmash, so I got the transmute primal earth to primal water recipe, and you won’t believe what else happened, as I was transmuting my first primal earth, I discovered how to transmute primal life to primal water, I was pretty happy about that.  By the way in case you don’t know, primal earth on my server anyway go from anywhere between 2g50s to 3g a piece and primal water sells from 15g to 17g a piece, you can do the math there…if memory serves me correctly I am sitting at around 1800g, still a long way away from the 5k needed for epic flight training…slowly but surely I will get there.

What do I enjoy?

Siha of Banana Shoulders posted a shared topic on Blog Azeroth asking fellow bloggers to post what do we enjoy the most about the class we play?

Well, my main character has to be my druid, and that is a very good question I will try to come up with some thoughts here so bear with me, (pun intended) I didn’t warn you about the cheesiness, so let it be known, I am on some cold medicine at work and sucking down coffee like I would never see it again in my life, so I can’t be held responsible for whatever ends up here tonight…warning has been stated, carry on if you are ready for the trip.

My druid, he has to be a culmination of testing, playing, trial and error of starting out playing a warrior on my first server, blackhand, then ending up starting a female warlock, no idea there, then migrating to my hunter, eventually sticking with my hybrid druid, Tab.  I really enjoy playing the feral spec of this character I guess because I love to tank, I love the cat form, sneaking around pouncing on stupid people (and some not so stupid), and just the shapeshifting that comes along with being a druid in general I really like a lot.  Maybe because I am so capricious, I enjoy keeping people on their toes, being random and not being predictable, perhaps cause my real life is so boring and I feel like I am a robot in this automated world just doing what is expected of me everyday in and out…the monotony gets old…but in WoW as a druid, I can be a beast, a force of nature, yes, I do enjoy that joke…/silly.  Actually /question is my favorite emote in the game…try it out…I usually get a response good or bad sometimes…anyway, back on topic.

Druids are great, I don’t have to delve into all the abilities druids are so very capable to perform, but of course if I really had to I could always respec and become a healer, or I could always become a mage with tank armor…you see, the versatility is what I enjoy the most.  I love to be a in bear form tanking the big bosses getting right in their grill and mauling them, it is a lot of fun.  You could call me a druid with a warrior heart I suppose, but to me a full rage bar is a happy druid…what can I say?

Bra?

I am a pretty easy going guy who doesn’t let most things get under my skin.  But, every once in a while, something will just trigger something and I have to be very careful how I react or else I might get into some trouble.

Picture this:  Me, Sean, sitting at work, my job is really pretty boring here while I am in the states, pretty much imagine working at a taxi service/ hertz vehicle rental store, there ya go…yeah, good times, but we wear uniforms and call each other sergeants and stuff, so it is a bit more exciting I suppose…anyway, here I am, some aircrew members, these are our customers, walk in returning a van they were using while enjoying their stay here in our wonderful area of southeast DC..grand views…and so, I have to find someone to check this vehicle in, ensuring they didn’t have a keg party in the back and burn the tread off the tires, normal stuff, and at that time one of them says, “We’re gonna need a ride out to the plane BRA.”

At first, it took a second to sink in, then I had to turn around and go into the other room to find my person and to not let him see me getting worked up, I came back and said someone will give them a ride.  They left and I am still wondering why that bothered me like it did.  Maybe that is normal talking for people from California?  I don’t know, I have never hung out there, so I don’t know, but don’t call me BRA, I am not a piece of stretchy cloth that wraps around a womans breasts….but that does sound kind of fun…hmm

I have to tell you

As some of you might remember, and for the rest of you who don’t know, I have two level 70 characters, my hunter, Giznad, was the first character I played to reach the level cap back when this blog was first started up…go ahead and check out January posts, yep, it’s there I promise…anyway, as I spend more time playing I find myself splitting my gaming type between my druid and hunter.  I know I am not alone when I say hunters are a lot of fun to play!

Yesterday, out of a combination of boredom and that I was wanting a challenge, I decided to go tame gutripper, the level 67 elite owl in Nagrand.  I watched a video someone made on how they did it, and it was simple really, first off, I got into the zone and started asking if there was a priest around who would help me out.  I did pay them, although it probably wasn’t necessary, for those of you nonhunters out there, the taming process can be tricky if you don’t know what you are doing, the typical response for taming an elite beast would be to lay down a freezing trap, well, he is immune, so it went down like this…

Pick a good spot free of any other mobs, wait for gutripper, switch to aspect of the monkey,  target gutripper, at maximum distance fire scorpid sting at gutripper, immediately cast tame beast, have priest holy shield you…I also had another advantage of a shaman and his totems there as well, healing will interupt the taming process, it was pretty close, just have the priest recast holy shield on you, he had me down to about 15% health by the time it ended, but we did a little dance and I thanked everyone, and now I have a nice looking black owl for PvP…I named him after the priest, since I didn’t have a name picked out yet…

So, it can be done, right now my pets are, Sian-Rotam from the quest in Winterspring, an undead pig from the eastern plaguelands, and gutripper…I wish we could stable more pets…a tank would be nice to have…

So, yes, my hunter is alive and well, currently Beast Mastery specced with his little family of pets.

Man uh T?

So, where was I? Oh yes, ahem, I hereby announce that I have nothing important to talk about…no, I josh…I do have something to say or else why would there be a post here?

Enough with the questioning stuff, I tend to find myself doing this more often than is healthy.  So, as most of you know, there is the “support” site called Blog Azeroth and at this place there is a growing number of bloggers of the World of Warcraft have come together to share thoughts and ideas about blogging and WoW in general.

There was a challenge you could say that was put up in the druid forums…

Challenge:
Hypothetical situation: Blizzard has introduced a new underwater zone to WoW. Due to this, they start giving all classes underwater abilities. The druid seal form is now utilized for more than simple travel.

Your goal: Design abilities for the seal form! Is the seal a healer? Magical dps? Physical dps? Tank? Utility? CC? Something entirely new?

I like this idea a lot, partly because I enjoy combat underwater especially when in seal form, yes, druids can do physical damage when in seal form.  It isn’t much, but it is something, as far as the challenge goes, I have something different in mind besides simple physical damage.

I am thinking a combination of CC, something new, the CC part could be a few different spells similar to OP cyclone, which I love by the way, but this could be called the torrent: a violent swirling mass of water surges from the depths and encompasses the victim, rendering them useless for 6 seconds and at the same time leaving a DoT on them for an additional 20 seconds, does this sound OP to you?  Perhaps, but wait it gets better…

Along with having a CC spell, the new and improved Man uh T druid form also gives you the ability to perform group travel with your party members, as long as the druid has the required regeants on hand he can transport his party members to designated points, such as moonglade, darnassus and other havens for those seeking shelter from the vast world.

Also, of course, there has to be some spells for our underwater friends, a new style of moonfire called a moonwave, it sends a blast of water at the enemy causing water damage, this new branch of magic form brings with it a whole new set of gear, such as Witches wraps of the Sea and the Staff of the Hydra, etc…

These are some of my thoughts, a huge OP spell that would be awesome to have would be the drown spell, it is a 10 second spell that must not be interrupted to cast and if successful will fill the victims lungs with water slowly cutting off breath and eventually killing them if they are not able to counteract the effects within 30 seconds.

I know, I am out on a limb here, but this is actually pretty fun coming up with new ideas and stuff.
