Burning Down the House

So I have my final exams for the math and humanities classes I have been taking this semester…I have mixed feelings because as of right now I am really behind on the math.  At the same time I took the time to figure out my final grade if I were not to pass the final exam, so, with the math skills I do have I figured that 400 points out of 500, the minus 100 for the exam…would still give me a B for the class and that is good enough for me.  I still plan on putting forth my best effort but I don’t see it being pretty.  As far as the humanities course is concerned the final exam should be fairly simple, the instructor has been kind enough to give us the final exam to study, basically have to pick five questions out of the ten given and post a paragraph for an answer, each question is worth 20 points, I have picked the 5 I plan to answer and filled out answers, now I have to memorize them for Saturday.

Overall the online college courses I have taken so far haven’t been that difficult, but it does take a lot more effort on my part to stay actively involved in the learning process, tons of reading, no face-to-face interaction.  Sometimes I wish I just went to a classroom and listened to a teacher talk for an hour or two.  One step closer to finishing the associates degree…I have come to realize I don’t particularly care for math… :)
